WHO WE ARE
Mission Statement
We are Indivisible Johnston County NC, a grassroots coalition of residents dedicated to defending democracy, upholding the rule of law, promoting justice, fostering inclusivity, and empowering our neighbors. Our mission is to create a more equitable future for central North Carolina.
Within North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District, we champion fairness, inclusion, and accountability. We strive to ensure that every resident—regardless of background—is represented and respected.
We believe that positive change is not only possible—it is already underway. By organizing locally and engaging strategically, we are shaping the future of North Carolina.
Together, we are Indivisible.

Launch advocacy campaigns to flip key seats—including the 13th District, US Senate, and State Congress—to protect democracy and expand opportunity.
3. Build a United Coalition
Strengthen partnerships with existing Indivisible groups and support the formation of new ones throughout the district.
Promote collaboration, resource-sharing, and unified action to amplify our collective impact.
4. Advance Civic Education
Equip community members with tools for legislative success, strategic noncooperation, and grassroots leadership.
Host workshops, training sessions, and educational campaigns to build long-term capacity.
5. Empower Voter Participation
Drive voter registration, education, and outreach to increase turnout and informed participation.
Prioritize accessibility and inclusion to ensure every eligible voice is heard.

7. Champion Diversity & Inclusion
Cultivate a welcoming, equitable, and representative movement.
Uplift marginalized voices, reflect the full spectrum of our community, and dismantle barriers to participation.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Mary and Brian Blank
When we were entrusted with leadership in the summer of 2025, we faced uncertainty about our next steps. Over the following weeks, we actively sought volunteers, and by the end of October, we had built a strong, enthusiastic team. Together, we are moving forward into 2026 with determination, ready to support and elect champions of democracy and the rule of law for the people of Johnston County.
